About the region

The Armidale Dumaresq area is rich in natural attractions and local history. From National Parks to the remains of old gold mining operations, there is plenty for the visitor (and locals) to see and do. The Armidale Visitors Information Centre is located at 82 Marsh Street, with access beside Hungry Jacks. The Centre is open:

  • Seven Days a week: 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Closed Christmas Day

The Armidale Visitor Information Centre opperates a free Heritage Tour Bus around Armidale every day. It is a fantastic way see Armidale and find out all the information you want to know from your Volunteer Tour Guide!! Bookings are recommended by clicking here, or call the Visitors Centre for more information.
